Hello everyone!
This week will be our LAST WEEKLY POW WOW OF THE YEAR 
We have had a fantastic time getting up and running. We have had great feedback from people, mentorship on how to do things in a good way & celebrations for what we’ve been able to bring to the Valley. As we approach our last weeks Pow wow (This Thursday!) we want to share a few announcements.
– Get ready for a spaghetti and garlic toast dinner 
– The VYPER – Visionary Youth Peers for Equity & Revitalization pow wow committee has decided to host several specials/gift prizes this Thursday. We want our families of the valley to be taken care of & ready for the Christmas holidays. Some gifts we’ve purchased for Indigenous dancers this week include,
– Beaded earrings, medallions, etc…
– Moccasins
– Hand drums
– Ribbon wear
– Cash prizes
More to come….
– We acknowledge there are a lot more teachings we should make available for our young ones and those who may not be Indigenous but love to come and witness the pow wow family we have. Get ready for teachings & story telling as we continue to adjust and revamp our family nights.
We are looking forward to closing with a blast this week. It’s been such a beautiful journey with and among some of our new family. Safe travels and see you soon
